My 1st softball game & 1st sleepover
Last week I had my first softball game. There was many new sites and smells to figure out. I was not able to settle down much. I just loved greeting everyone. Once the game started I loved rooting for my team, I think I cheered for the right one. (The ones that are batting right?)
Jake was great at the game. He was a little vocal and liked to bark at people, especially people who walked by. He seemed to not want to settle down much. Usually Peaches lies down once the game starts, but Jake could not get over the new sites and smell. There many more games for him to attend and learn to relax and enjoy being outside. Overall he did better at the game then I thought he was going to be. This being his first game, I thought he would be more active then he was.
Last Friday I got to have my first sleepover at a friends house. Mom had to go to Iowa to help with flood relief and dad’s schedule was hectic and I would be kenneled to long if I stayed home with him. So mom decided to have me stay at a friends and I loved it. I loved having access to the yard daily and being able to run without be pulled back. The one thing I didn’t like was staying in the kennel, which was big enough for me to move around. But I love to be with people and cuddle. There is a dog that lives there that doesn’t like me, not sure what’s her problem, I am a loving dog and everyone loves me :) There is another miniature schnauzer there and we got to play a lot, I only wish Peaches was there with me to run around and play.
I am glad to be home and to see my parents. I sure missed mom.

Jake has come a long way. You have done so much with him and he certainly adores Peaches.
