Scooter’s Vacation

Scooter spent 12 days with Max and while his foster family was on vacation.  The first night he cried, but after that he was fine. He and  Max had a lot of fun chasing each other in the backyard.  Scooter would grab a toy so Max would chase him.

Scooter helped  with yard and garden work.  When I would weed the garden, Scooter would take the weeds I pulled out of the pail and distribute them to the rest of the yard. One day when I was weeding the garden, I noticed Scooter was trying to help by digging a hole.

He and Max had a fun play date with their doggy friends, Poppy and Dakota.  Scooter loves to have the other dogs chase him.  He can run so fast and no one can catch him.  Also, he got to play with a Tibetan Terrier named Zoey who came over for a visit.
Scooter and Max loved to wrestle.  When Max had too much wrestling, he would let Scooter know and Scooter would back off.  A few of  the stuffed dog toys are missing some fur because Scooter and Max were playing tug-o-war.

Max would never admit this but I think he kind of misses Scooter.   I miss Scooter, too.  He was a lot of fun to have around.
