Update on Jim

Hi

I just wanted to check in.  So much has happened since I came to schnauzer rescue.  My foster mom says I am an overachiever because I have made so much progress since coming from the puppy mill. When I first came to my foster home I used to hide in the hallway or under the table.  Not anymore!  I wag my tail, play outside with my foster sister,  and I LOVE treats. I love following my family around and spending time where they are.  I now know that a blanket is more comfortable than the floor, carpet is ok to walk on, and I can walk down stairs if I am careful. I still do not know what to think of the parrot in the house.  He is kinda loud!  I absolutely love having my head scratched.  I can sit next to my foster mom for hours while she rubs my ears.  I also went for a walk around the neighborhood.  It was kinda scary, but I know that I will be walking around the lake in no time. I get so tired from all of the changes in my life, but I know that I will always have a warm and soft bed to lie on at the end of the day now! More later-Jim
