When I came to MSPMSR, my foster mom kept telling me how much she loved me and so I loved her right back. I loved my foster brother and my foster sister too. We had fun, all of us, playing with each other so much.

Now something every exciting has happened. I found my forever family and they love me more than ever! Just like that! I have 2 new dads and a furry brother named Buster. I went to their house one night so we could all meet each other. What happened? Blam! Like magic we were a team! I got hugs and kisses from my dads which I liked very much. My new furry brother asked me if I would like to play with him, but I felt a little shy. It was wonderful! Do you want to know my favorite? I have 2 new laps to cuddle up in. Yes, my mom was right. The world is a better place.

Here are some things to know about me.  You can be my friend too!  Maybe you will be my forever home.

1.  I am irresistible!  Just look at my face!

2.  I get along with other dogs…..even my very bossy foster sister.  Within a couple of hours of meeting her, we were involved in a wild game of “chase me” in the backyard.  I have a foster brother too, but he was easier to become friends with.  His isn’t so bossy.

3.  I have very good manners.  If you offer me a treat (which I like very much), I will gently take it from your hand.

4.  I love hugs and kisses.  Just love them!   I will get very very close to your face and give you butterfly kisses with my eyelashes.

5.  I will either lie at your feet or wait to be invited on the couch to snuggle up close to you.  My foster mother tells me, “Boomer, you are the best cuddle-bug ever!”

6.  I don’t especially like getting my toenails cut, but I am very cooperative about getting that done.

7.  I like to play “chase me” with other dogs.  I like to cuddle and wrestle with my people friends.

8.  I like to go for walks.  When you show me my leash, I get very happy and wiggle a lot.  My foster mom and I went to PetSmart last week and I got to show her my good behavior in stores too.  Very nice!

9.  At night, I like to sleep on the couch.

10.  I have a Boomer joke that I showed my foster mom.  Here it is:

Question:  What do you call Boomer when he cuddles you, goes outside to play for a few minutes and come right back in to cuddle some more?

Answer:  Boomer-rang!  Yup…that’s me!
