Their expanded family has now two human girls that love him very much.  His new Dad also bonded with Carl.  The foster Mom couldn’t imagine life without Carl.  He found his forever home, right there with his foster family. There were many tears of joy when they were told Carl could stay with them forever.

Carl is developing into quite the happy-go-lucky dog!  As you can see from the photo, he is getting along well with my  two dogs.  I’m not sure what Carl is telling them in this photo but they both seem very interested!

Carl is still shy with strangers but after he gets to know you Carl thrills in giving and receive love & positive attention!  When I get up in the morning or come home and let him out of his crate, Carl does this funny little dance to show how happy he is to see me!  It is so cute!

Carl’s house-training is coming along very well & he hasn’t had an accident in the house for over a week!  He’s sleeps in his crate at night in the kitchen and holds it all night with no accidents in his crate.

Carl loves being outside and I’ve started teaching him how to walk on a leash by having him follow behind one of my other dogs on a walk for him to learn by example.  Carl is learning that a leash is something good and is getting better at walking on one.

Carl is a very handsome dog & has a very playful, loving, & curious nature.  His tail seems to be wagging all the time!

Carl is currently living with two other dogs in his foster home and is getting along well with both of them.  He’s very respectful to the elderly dog and tries to engage the younger dog in play.

Carl is shy when he meets new people but quickly warms up to them and then wants to play and be pettted.

He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and is very sweet.
