My foster parents dropped me off at a new house and told me that I would be at this new house for the weekend. I was a little scared, but in no time I realized that I was going to have a blast. I loved staying with the other humans… they had 2 of their own fur kids- and the fur kids took me right under their wings and we played and played. I loved being near the humans and loved to snuggle as much as possible. I went for walks and they even had a barbeque where I was able to run around with even more humans to watch and pet me. It was great. It was hard to leave to go back to my foster family, but since I’m getting good at adapting to different situations easily, I did a great job slipping back into my foster dog life.

I thought you all might like to see a photo of me during my slumber party weekend. I’m the super cute one on the left end (as opposed to the cute ones in the middle and on the right end!!!).

Then my mom’s friend came over and she brought this HUGE black dog.  I guess he’s a black lab.  He was nice, but I wasn’t too playful.  I like to get to know the dogs and people I play with before I get super playful.  Tomorrow there is a schanuzer get together and I am really looking forward to making my debut with MSPMSR and to playing with the dogs there.

Oh- and one more thing… *get this!*  Today, I went down to the kennel, and I picked up a new toy I had never played with before (mom calls it the broccoli squeaky toy).  I brought it upstairs and I played with it!  This playing with toys thing is cool.  I also played a lot with my rawhide sheet.  It’s in my mouth in the picture here, but it really just looks like I’m smiling (which I was, too!).

My name is Romeo. I’d like to introduce myself to you. First of all- my name. I am *sure* that I got my name because I am such a little lover. My favorite thing to do is to be with a person. I love it especially when my people pet me.

I am one and a half years old.  I came into the rescue because the home I was in was really busy and they didn’t realize how much time I would take up. I was really nervous when I came in to my foster family’s house. I tended to slink around on my belly a lot and sometimes I had accidents in the house because I was scared. Since I got to be with my foster family, I’ve learned that it’s okay to be a dog! I’ve learned to have confidence and I don’t slink around much at all anymore. I’ve only had one wetting accident in the last month!!

I have learned several new things since I got to be with my foster family. I know how to fetch now! And most of the time I’ll even give the tennis ball back! I’ve learned how to play with toys, and I’m really good at getting in my kennel when my people tell me to hop in the kennel.

My favorite thing to do (other than get my belly rubbed) is to play with my foster dog brother. He’s such fun! We run and chase and knock each other down and have a grand old time. I just love it!

My foster mom and dad call me the little wiggler because my tail is always going. I am so happy. I can’t wait to find a new forever home!!
