Watson loves to be outside, play with his foster brother Casey, and walks very well on the leash.  He is an absolute joy to have around. 

He knew everything already and just blended in with the family so easily.  He will be a great dog for someone that doesn’t want to go through any puppy, destructive, or behavior problems.  What a perfect boy he is.

 

 

 

 

 Watson is very fiesty and playful, though very loving and gentle.  He loves to have his tummy rubbed and will roll over when we say, “Do you want a tummy rub?”

After a good walk and some dinner his favorite place is to cuddle near my foster Mom’s feet.  Watson enjoys the “Down” times and doesn’t exhibit the non-stop zoomies or needing attention all the time.  This way the humans can get some work done too.

My name is Watson (that name must have been chosen for me because I am so clever!). I am nine years old but I have so much energy that I act like I’m five years old….I love to fetch balls, chase squirrels (I can run fast enough to almost catch them!) and play with toys –and I have to admit I am just a tiny bit mischievous! I have some chewie toys that I have fun with. I love to go for walks and explore all the sights and smells. I “talk” to my foster mom and sometimes she says I talk too much and she has to “shush” me – but I have so much to say! I have a short tail, but I wag it a lot!My foster mom says that I am really quick, cute and such a handsome “lover boy”….I love to have her rub my tummy. She calls me her “sweetie pie”. I love to snuggle next to my foster parents and hang out with them at night when they watch TV. My foster mom says that she will be sad when I leave, but she will be very happy for me. I get along well with other dogs (Casey is a rescue dog in my foster home) but I like to be the center of attention.

 

 

My previous companion passed away (that is a picture of him and my sister Riley). I was sad for awhile but now I am eagerly looking forward to my forever home with companions who want a Schnauzer who will give them love, affection, attention and a lot of fun! Won’t you please give me a forever home? The best is yet to come……
